Devlog #2 - Building your town

In Dinkum you aren't just building your home, you will be building your town as well.

At the beginning of the game you will start with some other explorers that want to set up their homes and businesses. One of the first requests you will get is from John. John wants to open a shop and tasks you with finding and clearing some land to build on.

Devlog # 1 - What is Dinkum?

My name is James and I've been making games for years. I started out making bad flash games on Newgrounds in high school. After studying Graphic Design in University I realized I really wanted to be making games.

So, after quitting the job I had for 10 years and moving states, my partner and me agreed that now was a good time as any to try making a game full time. We moved around 6 months ago and that's when I started working on Dinkum.
