Devlog # 1 - What is Dinkum?
My name is James and I've been making games for years. I started out making bad flash games on Newgrounds in high school. After studying Graphic Design in University I realized I really wanted to be making games.
So, after quitting the job I had for 10 years and moving states, my partner and I agreed that now was a good time as any to try making a game full time. We moved around 6 months ago and that's when I started working on Dinkum.
Dinkum 6 months ago and today.
Dinkum is a life simulator with town building elements. In Dinkum you will arrive with a group of explorers to a previously unexplored island. You will be tasked with building a home for yourself as well as helping the other explorers build their homes and businesses as well. Maybe you can attract even more people to come live in your town.
